Among her accomplishments were numerous awards throughout her years prior to entering college. Some of these include Martin Luther King Jr. award, a medallion as a state Finalist in Future Business Leaders of America and an Outstanding Leadership medal from the U.S. army. As a member of FBLA, she served as Reporter, and Vice President. She was also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Health Occupation Students of America.
During her college years at Winston Salem State University she was always involved in the area of ministry. These include Young Life, Woman 2 Woman (founder), TCLC organization (founder/presider), and Alpha Nu Omega Sorority Inc. (Charter member) and Advisor. She was also recognized as an honor student during her course of study.
At the age of 12 Mindy was called into the ministry. It was around
that time that she started serving in the church in various offices
including teaching Sunday school, and Assistant Sunday school Secretary, and
Treasurer
of the Deep River Association.
At the age of 15 Mindy began to travel around to different churches doing
motivational speaking. At the age of 18 she did her initial sermon. When
she arrived at Winston Salem State University (WSSU), she became a leader in
Young Life, which is a mentoring program, she founded Woman 2 Woman and
Brothers and Sisters in Christ. In 2003 she founded The Christian Life
Center (TCLC) organization on campus which was a blessing to many people.
In 2004 she founded Faithfilled Ministries and The Impartation (which is her
business). In 2006 she gave birth to Destiny Realized Empowered And
Motivated (D.R.E.A.M.) which is a program that focuses on developing strong
leaders in our youth.
Above all of these great things she has accomplished the greatest has been
the answering the call to cry loud and spare not the gospel of Jesus
Christ. Mindy believes firmly that Jesus is her LIFE. Ministry is her
PASSION. Writing is her PLEASURE. Being free is her JOY.
